About
We need vehicles and drivers in Ann Arbor to participate!
How big is the commitment to participate?
• First, visit UMTRI and get the wireless device skillfully installed in your vehicle.
For some, there may be a short (1-hour) training as well.
• Next, visit us three more times over the year so we can retrieve data and check on the device. These visits should last no more than 20 minutes.
• Finally, pay us one more visit to allow us to skillfully remove the device from your vehicle.
• Participation lasts 12 months

Compensation:
All participants will receive $200 at the end of the study.
As part of a Community Outreach plan, UMTRI is making it possible for participants to donate their
compensation to one of several Ann Arbor Public Schools located in the Model Deployment area - each of
which are assisting UMTRI in recruiting participants for the study.
Some participants may qualify to drive a new vehicle, equipped with the new technology, for 6 months.
